My husband and I just finished a 5 night stay at Copper Beech. We stayed there for the first time in 2017 and we so happy to make a return visit. You meet all sorts of people in Haida Gwaii and the folks that own and manage Copper Beech are amongst the best. House Manager Chelsea is fantastic. Extremely welcoming and efficient. She is there when you need her and discretley gives the guests plenty of privacy too. Plus she is a great Baker and leaves sweet treats out for afternoon tea. Tom also works at the house and makes great pancakes and was able to connect us to a local fisherman who we were able to hire on the spot for a beautiful sight seeing cruise of Massett harbour. The owner of the house, Susan Musgrave, leaves no detail overlooked. It is a beautiful heritage home full of amazing art and treasures of the world and a lot of local history too. We stayed in the Harbour Masters Keep and just loved it. Super comfy beds. Great duvets and pillows and every comfort you could hope for. We are already dreaming about our return visit. Our doggie Panque also loved it all.
