Due to our size, cancellations affect us greatly. Deposit and cancellation policies are generally less forgiving on Island than those of hotels or B&B’s in urban areas, as a last-minute cancellation may mean a significant loss to our somewhat vulnerable, remote island business, especially in the high season. (That said we try to be as understanding as we possibly can be, depending on the circumstances.)
IMPORTANT: We highly recommend that you contact your travel agent or credit card company regarding trip cancellation insurance to cover refund of accommodations costs in case of unforeseen changes to your plans (including, but not limited to, delays, strikes, closure of air space, death in family, etc.).
FULL PAYMENT WILL BE TAKEN AT THE TIME BOOKING IS MADE.
LOW SEASON
(October 16-April 30):
Full refund minus $25 processing fees.
HIGH SEASON
(May 1-OCTOBER 15):
IF YOU CANCEL MORE THAN 30 DAYS BEFORE YOR BOOKING: Full refund less $25 processing fee (per room).
IF YOU CANCEL LESS THAN 30 DAYS BEFORE YOUR BOOKING: We reserve the right to retain the full amount you have paid. If we are able to rebook your room(s) we will gladly credit you the amount we are able to recoup minus the $25 processing fee.
Please note the processing fee is per room, therefore if you are a group booking, you will be charged per room.
EARLY CHECKOUT: The nights you have reserved are guaranteed exclusively for you. If you decide to leave early, we reserve the right to retain the full amount for your reservation. If we are able to rebook your room(s) we will gladly credit you the amount we are able to recoup, less processing fee.
DELAYED ARRIVAL: No refund of deposit with the exception of cancellation due to weather (in the event of the ferry or plane not making it to the Island.) In all other circumstances, should we be able to rebook all the nights, we will be pleased to credit you the amount we are able to recoup, less processing fee.
NO-SHOW OR SAME DAY CANCELLATION: Full night (or nights) charge.
