An oasis of sophistication in a sea of fishers and loggers!  We laughed, we marveled.  We ate till we, ---well, enough said.  I will never ever forget the tomato/peach soup, the wedding feast, impromptu, the oolichan and the door fish.
"What you can do on the Queen Charlotte's (Haida Gwaii) is find a wealth of ocean, river and forest- most of it in a magnificent, natural state and most of it edible."
"The  herring roe was delicious..we dipped neat little strips into soya sauce and melted butter and then bit into tiny, iodine charged eggs. They burst on the palate with the taste of the sea".
"Your have restored our faith in cooking out here."

"Just the best crab and oolichan pate going!"

"Delectable and unique food!"

"Visiting David Phillips is finding yourself in the middle of a moveable feast-- visual and edible!!"
