We stayed here for four nights in late July 2013 and really enjoyed our stay. The place is crammed with antiques and art, and a nice place to relax. We had the Harbor Master Keep. This is said to be the only room with a kitchen, and it worked well for a couple. It would be a bit cramped for three, and had no kitchen table.

The Harbour Master’s Keep

The Harbour Master’s Keep
Sleeps 3

Sleeps three; it has its own kitchenette and bathroom, and overlooks the tangled English garden. One double built in “captain’s bed” and one twin bed in a separate small room overlooking the harbour. Guests can sit out under the wisteria and drink their morning coffee or a sip a glass of homemade elderberry cordial.

Pierre and Maggie (the former Canadian Prime Minister, Pierre Trudeau and his wife) made this room their love nest when they visited Haida Gwaii, and stayed as David’s guests.
